Cambria
Santa Maria Valley, USA
“Cambria is rooted in female leadership. For over 30 years, we’ve been champions of women, the environment, and how the world of wine can work together to create a more equitable and sustainable future.”
— Barbara Banke, Owner.
For over 25 years, Cambria Wines has crafted world-class wines in the Santa Maria Valley.
A family-owned winery committed to crafting world-class wines amidst the breath-taking benchlands, where the foothills rise from the valley floor, their vineyards thrive in one of California’s finest cool-climate crus.
The magic of Cambria’s wines begins with their meticulously nurtured estate vineyards. Spanning over 1600 acres, these vineyards bask in the gentle coastal influence of the nearby Pacific Ocean. With its level 1 climate, the valley boasts one of the coolest wine-growing regions globally, allowing for a long growing season that results in fully developed flavours in the berries. Their small-lot practices enable them to focus on individual vineyard parcels, clones, and soil types, delivering stylistically distinct bottlings that have earned acclaim.
Beyond exceptional wines, the 1600-acre estate is a utopia for local wildlife and have Sustainability In Practice (SIP) certification and the Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) seal. As stewards of this land, they are committed to preserving its splendour for generations to come.
