Mirabeau

Provence, France

Founded in 2009, Mirabeau was created when Stephen and Jeany Cronk relocated from London to Provence to produce a world-class rosé. Today, from their sustainably farmed estate near Saint-Tropez, Mirabeau is recognised for elegant rosés rooted in provenance and regenerative viticulture.

In 2009, at the height of the global financial crisis, Stephen and Jeany Cronk made a life-altering decision that would define their family’s future and reshape the landscape of Provence rosé.

Swapping their comfortable life in South West London for the sun-soaked hills of Cotignac to create a rosé that would stand among the world’s best.

Stephen, a former telecommunications executive with an unshakable passion for wine, and Jeany, his equally intrepid partner, immersed themselves in Provençal life, learning the rhythms of the region and forging partnerships with its most dedicated growers. Their first release, Mirabeau Classic (2010), blended with the guidance of Master of Wine Angela Muir, was an instant success, heralding the arrival of a brand that combined craftsmanship, authenticity, and charm.

Over the past decade, Mirabeau has grown into one of the most admired names in rosé, known for its luminous wines, effortless elegance, and storytelling that captures the soul of Provence.

Today, from their sustainably farmed estate near St Tropez, the Cronks continue to champion regenerative viticulture-proof that courage, conviction, and a touch of audacity can turn a dream into a legacy.
