Picollo Ernesto

Picollo Ernesto is a 17-acre winery nestled in the rolling hills around Gavi, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate and maritime breezes unique to southern Piedmont. Located at 260 meters above sea level in Rovereto di Gavi, the estate features nine hectares of vineyards exclusively planted with Cortese.

The grapes for this wine are hand harvested on gentle slopes with stony clay and marl soils, primarily south-facing. The clay soils and old vines contribute pear-pulp aromas during fermentation, resulting in a light, crisp wine that offers excellent value.
