Te Kano Wine Estate unfolds a poignant narrative of devotion—for Central Otago, the art of winemaking, and to rejuvenating nature. The genesis of this tale lies in the union of a Californian and a Kiwi, which ignited a passion for the extraordinary wines of this region.
Their dream took root when the opportunity arose to acquire pristine vineyard land on the prestigious Felton Road. The real love affair, however, was with Northburn, a site of unparalleled natural splendour.
This affection for the land led them to embrace organic farming practices, nurturing the earth back to life.
Their wine collection consists of ‘The Land’, ‘The Life’, and ‘The Kin’ Series.
The Land Series pays homage to unique terroirs, crafting limited quantities capturing the essence of Bannockburn, Northburn, and Waitaki soils. The Kin Series radiates vibrancy, perfect for gatherings with loved ones, while The Life Series blends vineyard parcels, embodying Central Otago’s way of life.
